Beale Joins MRC Team as Mechanical Inspector

With nearly 30 years of inspection and repair and maintenance program development experience, Michael Beale was recently appointed as Mechanical Inspector at Modern Rail Capital.

As part of the MRC team, Beale will help conduct detailed inspections of railcars to assess mechanical condition, safety appliances, brake systems, wheels, structural components and other tasks. Beale will be instrumental in continuing MRC’s reputation for having one of the best-maintained fleets in the industry.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have Michael join our team,” MRC President Kevin Cook said. “He brings a wealth of knowledge about ensuring the safety, function and compliance of railcars. I’m confident that with Michael on board, MRC will continue to provide well-maintained railcars for our customers as we continue to expand our portfolio.”

Beale has spent the past decade serving in various maintenance roles in the rail industry. This includes working for Savage Services, Road & Rail Services, Rescar, Eagle Railcar Service, Union Tank Car Company and Holland LP.

“I’m extremely excited to join MRC,” Beale said. “Moving fast and keeping customers first is at the core of what makes MRC a trusted lessor – I have no doubt that I can fit that mission and contribute to our growth goals.”

Beale is a fourth-generation rail industry worker. His great-grandfather worked in the industry in the early 1900s, followed by Beale’s grandfather (1940s) and father (1970s).
